Building Connections for the Future

Netceed and TELTA are delivering one of Brandenburg's largest inner-city fiber network projects. Through this long-term partnership, more than 9,300 households will gain access to high-performance gigabit connectivity.

Reliable digital infrastructure is no longer a luxury. It is the foundation for connected communities, economic growth and future-ready living. In Eberswalde/Germany, Netceed and TELTA Citynetz GmbH are working together to make that vision a reality.

Since 2024, TELTA and Netceed have been delivering one of Brandenburg’s largest inner-city fiber network projects. Running through 2027, the multi-year initiative will provide more than 9,300 residential units with direct Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) connectivity.

Turning Vision into Reality

This project brings together regional expertise, strong partnerships and end-to-end execution. As the general contractor, Netceed is responsible for network design, material supply, project coordination, and the management of all construction and installation activities. TELTA oversees network operations and service delivery, while EWE NETZ provides the connection to the wider telecommunications backbone.

Together, we are building a modern fiber infrastructure that meets today’s broadband demands while creating the foundation for future digital services. These include smart home applications, Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, and next-generation media services.

The Rollout Is Progressing as Planned

The scale of the project is significant. Across Eberswalde, extensive civil works, fiber deployment, and the construction of several technical network hubs are currently underway. According to recent reports, approximately 31 kilometers of fiber infrastructure have already been installed, marking an important milestone in the project’s delivery.

Several network distribution sites are already operational and are providing the first households with high-speed fiber connectivity. One technical network hub alone serves approximately 1,200 households, demonstrating how efficiently entire residential areas can be connected to gigabit broadband.

More Than Infrastructure

For local residents, the project provides access to reliable, high-speed internet connectivity, supporting remote work, digital entertainment, online education, and future smart living applications.

As the rollout continues through 2027, Eberswalde is becoming a strong example of how collaborative fiber deployment can accelerate digital transformation on a large scale.
