25 April 2024 - Netceed, a leading global distributor and one-stop shop for all active and passive components and systems in the broadband industry, will display its complete network portfolio, technical know-how, service, and logistics solutions at ANGA COM 2024. As the largest telecom distributor in Europe and across 19 countries with more than 80 locations, Netceed offers future-proof complete solutions for successful FTTx broadband expansion. Netceed will be presenting its modular system of active and passive network components at Europe's leading congress trade fair for broadband, television and online. From 14 to 16 May 2024, Netceed will turn the spotlight on technologies and automation solutions from the pre-assembled PoP (Point of Presence) through all levels of the fiber optic and HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) network to the end user connection on 264 square meters in Hall 8 at Stand A50.
Netceed shapes the future of communication networks across the globe and will reveal at ANGA COM how the successful expansion of fiber optic networks in Europe can be achieved. Following the rebranding on 1 May of the companies Amadys, BTV Multimedia and all its subsidiaries (ANEDiS, braun teleCom, Fionis, Pott, Raynet, STW, TIBA and tso) to Netceed, the company will show itself for the first time under one brand name in Europe.
The one-stop-shop provider brings more than 30 years of success, performance, and experience in the telecommunications and broadband industry to the table. As a leading global partner and one-stop shop for broadband (fiber and HFC), telecoms, data centers and wireless, Netceed brings together expertise, service, and customer dedication under one roof, which is unique in the industry.
"We combine in-depth expertise for all active and passive materials with comprehensive product know-how and one easy single point of contact. Our focus is strongly on supporting our local customers as a one-stop shop, who in return benefit from our global network. We are the preferred partner from project outline to network operation, logistics and service, because highly complex broadband expansions are much easier to realize under one big roof, all whilst reducing the TCO (total cost of ownership) at the same time!", says Thibaud Lanaspre, Managing Director Europe at Netceed, adding: "With our modular approach, we can implement and supply any requirement and guarantee that everything runs smoothly and easily. "
Innovation, efficiency, and sustainability
Netceed’s globally experienced project management team and its highly specialized experts ensure smooth operations and highly efficient processes from the initial consultation to the go live.
In addition to the procurement, delivery of network infrastructure components, supply chain and logistics services, Netceed offers solutions and expertise in planning, project management and construction of future-proof broadband networks across all network levels in multiple regions to enable communication providers to deliver Internet, data, video, and voice services to their customers. Key components along the process chain include advice on the selection of innovative solutions as well as the development and manufacturing of customized products that enable optimal and future-oriented network size and performance. In the areas of network planning and configuration, the central topics are efficient management and optimization of the TCO.
The perfect system for every network
The trade fair booth at ANGA COM 2024 is divided into three areas that reflect the Netceed one-stop-shop. In the "End-to-End FTTx Area", the modular system takes center stage. Here, Netceed will showcase the fiber optic solutions of its own brands such as iNetceed (their in-house R&D lab), Microfocus, Wavepace and DKT. Starting with the PoPs (Points of Presence) via the Microfocus PatchRobot in the NVt (network distributor) to the house connection, the modular construction kit illustrates the path of fiber optics: with empty conduits for reliable underground protection, feeder cables as well as sub-distributors and customer drops all the way to the households on the very last stretch and to the fiber optic house connections for the final consumer - all this for everything from single-family homes to complex residential developments, apartment blocks or office buildings.
In the "One-Stop-Shop Area", Netceed will be presenting a large selection of products and tools from long-standing and market-leading partners alongside its own HFC components from the braun teleCom and DKT brands. There will be regular live demonstrations of splicing equipment from Sumitomo, test, and measurement equipment from VIAVI and injection technology from Jetting. The latest passive fiber optic solutions from CommScope, Corning and Langmatz round off the product portfolio alongside other partners, while the right accessories and tools for installing fiber optic networks can be inspected and tried out here.
In the "Active Solutions Area", Netceed will be presenting complex network solutions to the specialist audience, with which the broadband networks of the future can be created by combining active components from several partners and sophisticated system integration. For example, a sophisticated XGS-PON solution (fiber optic speeds of 10 Gbit/s in upstream and downstream) with OLTs (Optical Line Termination) from Calix ensures multi-gigabit bandwidths using the existing in-house infrastructure and true open access, i.e. the use of a fiber optic network by multiple network operators. In addition, live presentations will illustrate how DOCSIS® technologies such as Remote PHY and Remote MAC-PHY can be achieved with a Compact Node from CommScope. "The fully modular system of innovative and sustainable network components paired with Netceed's outstanding expertise as a global provider creates enormous potential to make network solutions available to the European broadband growth market on a larger scale with the necessary continuity of supply and full cost control," adds Alper Turken, CEO at Netceed.
